Grasstowne Wins At SPBGMA!
The 2008 SPBGMA Album of the Year award goes to Grasstowne for their first project, "The Road Headin' Home."
Another award was given to Phil Leadbetter for 2008 Dobro Player of the Year!
The awards were presented February 3rd, 2008 in Nashville, TN.

Tablature Now Available Online
Alan has begun posting "tabs" here at his web site and the first two are now available in the TABS section.
"Shoot the Moon," co-written with Ronnie Bowman and recorded on the BlueRidge - Common Ground project and "Grasstowne City Limits," written by Alan and recorded on the Grasstowne - The Road Headin' Home project will be followed by others in the near future.

Grasstowne Tops Charts!
The #1 bluegrass CD in America is "The
Road Headin' Home" by Grasstowne!! After just four months on the
Bluegrass Unlimited charts, the CD has taken over the top spot for
December! The single "Dixie Flyer" has moved up to #5.
Alan's bandmate, Phil Leadbetter said, "Thanks to everyone who has
supported us, and believed in us! This couldn't have happened without
you!"

Mandolin Player of the Year
Congratulations to the 2007 Mandolin
Player of the Year, Alan Bibey! Alan picked up the award February 4th
in Nashville, TN at the 33rd annual SPBGMA Awards Ceremony.
Bandmate Steve Gulley had this to say on the Grasstowne Forum, "It's
about time you started getting some long overdue praise that you so
richly deserve, Alan. You are absolutely the best and a great guy to
boot. It's an honor to get to play next to you each night and I can't
tell you how proud I am of you."
